Job description
We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician to join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to providing attentive, evidence-based care to hospitalized patients. The Hospitalist will play a key role in evaluating, managing, and coordinating patient care while working collaboratively with specialty and surgical teams.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in the inpatient setting
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to support coordinated care
Order and interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory results
Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies
Collaborate effectively with specialists, surgeons, and primary care providers
Facilitate timely discharges and coordinate post-acute care referrals
Promote efficient resource use and adherence to clinical pathways
Qualifications
Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)
Active Florida medical license
DEA license or eligibility
Skills
Strong knowledge of inpatient care standards and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
