Job Description

365 Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Director of Hospital Medicine to lead a hospitalist team at a respected healthcare system in Syracuse, New York.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a physician with a strong background in hospital medicine, clinical operations, and quality improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who inspires excellence, fosters collaboration, and drives measurable results in patient care and performance.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for the hospital medicine program.
Develop and implement performance and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and executive leadership.
Mentor, recruit, and retain hospitalist and APP staff.
Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and regulatory standards.

Schedule

• Days: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 40–50 per week
• Weekends / Call: None
• EMR: Epic

Qualifications

• Board Certified / Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Required
• New York Medical License (or willingness to obtain) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in acute care – Required
• Clean license and malpractice history – Required
• Certifications: ACLS | BLS | DEA – Required

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $325,000 – $350,000 (commensurate with experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
