Job description We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin starting Feb 1, 2026. This opportunity offers a 60-day contract with 24-hour call shifts, typically covering 2-3 weeks per month. The role includes managing pediatric inpatient cases with a focus on procedures such as intubation, circumcisions, and ventilation management. Candidates must hold board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and possess active BLS and NRP certifications.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 24-hour call; call ratio 1:2; 0-2 patients seen per shift; 2-3 weeks per month

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform intubations (ETT/NT)
  • Conduct circumcisions (required)
  • Manage ventilation for pediatric patients
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric care
  • Respond to emergent pediatric situations as needed

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine required
  • Active Wisconsin medical license required
  • Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Circumcision competency required
