OB Hospitalist Opportunity – University Hospitals, OH

Location: UH Geauga, UH Cleveland Medical Center, Ahuja Medical Center

Position Type: Physician – OB Hospitalist/Laborist

Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology

As a system, University Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology delivers approximately 8,000 patients a year at five different labor and delivery units across the Cleveland area. Delivery hospitals include our main referral center at MacDonald Women’s Hospital (Cleveland Medical Center or CMC) as well as units at St. John, Ahuja, Geauga, and Tripoint Medical Centers

The department is seeking OB Hospitalists/Laborists for full or part-time positions for our east side community hospitals as well as our main campus. The position includes managing labor, performing vaginal deliveries and Cesareans, and emergency gyn consults.

Compensation is highly competitive

Full-time position includes benefits (Health, Life, Vision, Dental and 401(k).)

Work Site Highlights:

Our community locations deliver roughly 1500 patients per year and include CNM collaboration. Our main campus location is a high-acuity Academic Medical Center performing approximately 4,000 deliveries per year. The OB hospitalists at all locations work closely as a team with generalists, CNMs, APPs, and nurses. Our main campus location also involves teaching residents and medical students, We practice TeamBirth at all of our birthing hospitals.

· Board-certified or Board-eligible – required.

· Active Ohio Medical License in good standing upon effective date of employment – required.
