Physician – Hospitalist (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)

$250,000–$275,000 Base + $15K Sign-On + Bonuses

Overview

A leading regional healthcare organization in Central New York is seeking a full-time Hospitalist (MD or DO) to join a collaborative inpatient team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a community-based hospital with a balanced patient load, supportive leadership, and an emphasis on quality, teamwork, and work-life balance.

Position Details

• Schedule: 7-on / 7-off, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Weekends: Included in schedule

• Call: None

• Patient Load: 12–15 patients per day

• Team Census: 40–50 patients collectively

• Environment: Open ICU with intensivist support (24/7 consultation available)

• Responsibilities:
  • Admit and manage hospitalized patients
  • Participate in daily rounds and coordinate with specialists
  • Respond to codes and rapid responses
  • Document care using EMR system (Paragon)
  • Work collaboratively in a physician-led hospitalist model

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $250,000 – $275,000 (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

• Additional Incentives: Productivity & Quality Bonuses + Relocation Assistance

• CME Allowance: $3,250 annually

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  (must obtain BC within 2 years of start)

• Active or eligible New York Medical License

• Clean malpractice and license history

• Current DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

• Comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support

• New graduates from residency welcome (must have completed training)
