A leading community hospital in Central New York is seeking a full-time Hospitalist (MD or DO) to join a well-supported inpatient team in Rome, NY. Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $250,000 – $275,000 annually
- Starting Bonus: $15,000

Job Responsibilities
• Conduct daily rounds, admissions, and manage rapid responses and codes.
• Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consult availability.
• Coordinate care with specialists and hospital staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Complete patient documentation accurately in Paragon EMR.
• Work as part of a hospitalist team managing 40–50 patients collectively.
Qualifications
• Active New York medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Must be open to a full-time, 7 on / 7 off schedule.
• Comfortable working in an open ICU environment with intensivist support.
• Not accepting Locum Tenens, Visa, or 1099 candidates.
Working Hours
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekends: Included in the 7 on / 7 off rotation
• On-Call: None
Skills
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Paragon preferred)
• Ability to manage acute care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
