Required Skills:
- Valid MD or DO medical license in Tennessee
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric emergencies and inpatient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous hospitalist or locum tenens experience in OB services
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- BLS, Ground Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- At least 3 years of obstetric and hospitalist experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work a 24-hour shift schedule, including on-call duties and clinic hours
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements
- Travel and licensure reimbursements as applicable
- Ability to work in the US and hold proper work authorization
