Job description

Job description We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 75-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Mar 8, 2026, and features 24-hour shifts (7am-7am) with multiple scheduled blocks throughout the year. The Pediatric Hospitalist will provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric care, attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries, and respond to emergency room consultations. Candidates must hold active California licensure and possess current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric care
  • Attend C-sections and manage high-risk deliveries
  • Respond to emergency room consultations
  • Deliver comprehensive pediatric hospitalist services as scheduled
  • Participate in on-call coverage (24/7 as assigned)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Additional Information
  • Active California medical license required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Board certification not required for this assignment
