• Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible Schedule (primarily nights for Nocturnist role)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Standard inpatient hospitalist procedures
• Admission and management of adult medical patients

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Mississippi medical license required
• Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum of 30 inpatient or outpatient encounters in past 12 months, or completion of hospital-affiliated accredited residency or fellowship
• Other Qualifications: Must provide three professional references who can attest to current clinical competence, ethics, and teamwork

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage for adult patients
• Admit, round, and discharge patients as assigned
• Collaborate with nursing staff and APPs for coordinated care
• Maintain thorough documentation in EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical staff bylaws
• Participate in GO LIVE transition support if applicable
