Hospitalist – Nocturnist (Locum Tenens)
Location: Baltimore, MD
Position Overview:
GBMC is seeking experienced Nocturnists to provide locum tenens coverage. This opportunity offers consistent scheduling with 12-hour overnight shifts and the potential for ongoing work once credentialed.
Assignment Details:
- Shift Times: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule Structure: Tuesday through Monday workweeks
- Average Admissions: Approximately 8 per night
- Staffing Model: 2 Nocturnists on duty each night
- ICU Coverage: Closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist support
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)
- Active Maryland medical license OR IMLC and DEA
- Minimum of 2 years Nocturnist experience
- Credentialing: 30–60 days (average 30–45)
Dates Needed:
- December 9 – December 15
- December 16 – December 22
- December 30 – January 5
- January 13 – January 19
- January 20 – January 26
- January 27 – February 2
