JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Hospitalist/Nocturnist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: El Paso, TX
• Service Setting: Inpatient
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: 11/15/2025 – Open
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Days and Nights, 7+ shifts per month

• Patient Volume/Census: TBD
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Rate: Daily OT after 12 hours (based on differential); Weekly OT after 168 hours (based on fixed)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Texas State Medical License
• Board: Board Certified/Board Eligible in ABEM or osteopathic counterparts; must be residency trained in specialty certified in
• DEA: Active DEA with Texas address
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS (ABEM requires proof of ATLS and current ACLS), CME within past 2 years, immunization records (TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella)
• Experience: Case logs from the past 2 years
• Other Qualifications: Copies of all education and training diplomas, SS card, driver’s license, color photo, telehealth experience not required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide hospitalist nocturnist coverage during day and night shifts
• Manage admissions, rounding, and phone consults
• Ensure timely patient care and documentation
• Collaborate with APPs and specialty backup teams
• Comply with credentialing, immunization, and licensing requirements
