Position Overview:
Inhospital Physicians is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team in Victor Valley, CA. This full-time position offers a competitive base salary with an RVU-based bonus, a supportive clinical environment, and an excellent work-life balance.
This is a daytime-only role with shared call responsibilities and no procedural requirements.
Position Details:

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts

Team Structure: 2 Hospitalist MDs per day + APP support

Patient Census: ~35 patients/day (shared)

Open ICU: You’ll manage patients in partnership with intensivists

No procedures required

Day physician runs rapid responses and codes (Anesthesia is available on-site)

Call: Every other day – minimal responsibilities

Compensation: Salary + RVU-based performance bonus

Physical Demands:
This physician/APP role requires stamina in fast-paced healthcare: prolonged standing/walking (8-12 hrs/shift); rapid emergency movement (sprints, crowds); lifting/carrying 25-50 lbs equipment; pushing/pulling 100 lbs (beds/carts) with aid; frequent bending/stooping/kneeling for care; constant reaching/fine motor skills (suturing/IVs); occasional climbing/balancing; tolerating stressors (temps, noise, fluids, hazards) during irregular shifts/on-call/infection risks—accommodations for disabilities; varies by setting (clinic/ER).
