Southeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing Hospital Medicine Program in Brunswick, Georgia. This full-time, academic-oriented hospitalist position offers an opportunity to engage in high-quality inpatient care, medical education, and hospital leadership.
Our program supports a collaborative environment, where hospitalists work alongside specialists, advanced practice providers, and internal medicine residents to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care planning and discharge transitions
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical pathway initiatives
• Precept internal medicine residents and/or medical students (academic track)
• Collaborate with subspecialists, nursing, and ancillary teams
• Participate in hospital medicine meetings and system-wide initiatives
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia
• Academic experience or interest in clinical education preferred but not required
• Visa Candidates welcome

• Cerner EMR across the health system
• Closed ICU with Critical Care support
• No procedures required
