Hospitalist Locum Job in Burlington, NC

Coverage Details:

• 1. Coverage needed per month: 5
• 2. Frequency of any Call needed: None
• 3. Schedule Details: 7 on 7 off schedule 7a-7p or 7p-7a (pressing need is nocturnist), PRN fill in shifts

Work Details:

• 4. Support staff: Please clarify type of support staff Nights: MC, WL, ARMC all have overlapping admitters and an APP that covers floor Coverage. The Annie Penn nocturnist is solo from 11p-7a. It’s a small rural campus.

• 6. Patient Volume: Average rounding census 15 – 18, Average admissions per 12 hour shift is 8

• 9. EMR/Documentation system experience – required or preferred?: preferred
• 10. Special Procedures/Unit Details: NO central vein catheter placements are required Procedures not required

Requirements:

• 12. Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC
• 13. State License(s) / IMLC Req’d?: yes ( cannot credential without license in hand)
• 14. Certifications Req’d?: BLS/ACLS, Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• 15. Specific Skills Req’d?: None outside of normal scope of practice of a Hospitalist
• 16. CSR Req’d?:
• 17. DEA Req’d?: Yes
• 18. Minimum Experience Req’d: No, but prefer experienced hospitalist
• 19. Are vaccines mandatory?: Yes
• 20. Additional requirements/details to screen for?: Must have NCMB license and DEA in-hand to submit application for privileges
