Perm - Physician - Hospitalist - OB

We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our dynamic team as an Obstetrics Hospitalist. This direct-hire opportunity allows you to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a supportive Level 2 NICU hospital environment, utilizing advanced EPIC electronic medical records while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide expert inpatient obstetrical care in a busy hospital with a Level 2 NICU.
• Join a collaborative hospital environment committed to high-quality obstetrical care.
• Care for approximately 13-14 patients daily across various settings.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and care management.
• Work a schedule of five to six 24-hour shifts per month, from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Weekend shifts are required.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Perform an average of 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour period, primarily vaginal deliveries with 25% C-sections.
• Must have prior delivery experience.
• Participate in holiday coverage with a holiday pay premium.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
• Active California medical license or an application in progress.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Preferred candidates will have 1-5 years of practice experience.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology - REQUIRED.
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification - REQUIRED prior to start.
• Active California license or application in progress - REQUIRED.
• COVID-19 vaccination - REQUIRED.
