Overview
We are looking for a skilled OB Hospitalist to provide high-quality obstetric care in Pendleton, OR. This position offers flexible scheduling for approximately 20 shifts per month, combining weekday clinic work with on-call responsibilities during weekdays and weekends. Required Skills
  • Current Oregon medical license and board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and labor & delivery management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of current obstetric practices and safety protocols

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience in high-risk obstetrics and nursery care
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish or Native American languages
  • Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Previous locum tenens experience

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Minimum of 3 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
  • Prior experience working in rural or community hospital settings is advantageous

Other Requirements
  • Willingness to travel to Pendleton, OR, for assigned shifts starting December 1, 2025
  • BLS, NRP, and (*) OB-related certifications required
  • Must adhere to all hospital and state licensing regulations and protocols
  • Will be compensated at $214.50 per hour for scheduled shifts
