OB Hospitalist – Fresno, CA (Permanent, Direct-Hire)

A well-established hospital in Fresno, California is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN to join its dynamic team as an Obstetrics Hospitalist. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity offering a supportive inpatient setting with a Level 2 NICU and a strong focus on collaborative, high-quality care.

Position Highlights

• Shifts: 5–6 24-hour shifts/month (7 AM – 7 AM)

• Weekend & holiday shifts required (holiday shifts include premium pay)

• Volume: ~13–14 patients/day | ~4–5 deliveries per 24-hour shift

• Delivery mix: ~75% vaginal, ~25% C-sections

• No call coverage required

• EMR: EPIC

• Work type: W-2 employee or 1099 independent contractor

• Visa sponsorship available (H1B/J1)

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Board Eligible not accepted)

• Recent delivery experience required

• Current licenses: BLS, ACLS, DEA, and CA medical license (or active application)

• COVID-19 vaccination required

• Must live within 30 minutes of the facility (no long-distance commuting)

• Single job commitment only—not open to dual employment
