We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalists to join a dynamic team in the greater Seattle area. This role supports one of the most advanced and high-volume maternity programs in the Pacific Northwest, with a combined 8,000 annual deliveries across two campuses. The position offers opportunities for collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, teaching residents and fellows, and supporting both high- and low-risk deliveries.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage obstetric triage and emergency cases, including ectopic pregnancies and torsions.
• Perform GYN procedures such as diagnostic laparoscopy and support emergency department consultations.
• Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and community OB providers.
• Participate in academic activities, teaching OB and family medicine residents and fellows.
• Ensure continuity of care while maintaining patient safety and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications
• Washington state medical license (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED.
• DEA license (must be obtained prior to start, no exemptions) – REQUIRED.
• OB Hospitalist work experience – PREFERRED.
• Clean malpractice and license history – HIGHLY PREFERRED.
• Must live locally or be willing to relocate – REQUIRED.
• Not accepting Locums or visa candidates.
Working Hours
• 6 to 8 shifts per month (including weekends).
• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
Skills
• Proficiency in inpatient obstetric triage, labor, and surgical management.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
