In this role, you will be responsible for managing obstetric patients, coordinating care with hospital staff, and ensuring safe deliveries and patient outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to the overall well-being of mothers and infants while working within a collaborative hospital environment.
Required Skills:
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Proven experience in obstetric hospital medicine or related clinical settings.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to handle obstetric emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Past experience working as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens capacity.
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Minimum of 2 years post-residency clinical experience in obstetrics.
- Prior locum or temporary hospitalist experience is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025.
- Must possess or quickly obtain Ohio licensure and relevant credentials.
- Commitment to working weekends in West Chester, PA.
- Credentialing and compliance with hospital policies.
- Willingness to travel if necessary.
