Job description
Hospital Medicine is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hospitalist with specialized training in Internal Medicine to join our growing team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Wilkes Medical Center in North Wilkesboro, NC. Wilkes medical Center is licensed for 130 beds including a 10-bed skilled nursing facility on the main campus.
Work in a Supportive & Collaborative Environment:
Join a professional, collegial team in a community hospital setting with access to academic resources. Wilkes Medical Center features an open ICU supported by Tele-ICU (aICU) and Sonosite ultrasound in the Emergency Department. Average daily census for the team 50-60 with a day staffing model of 3 physicians and 3 APPs. Assistance with procedures and intubations available.

Qualifications
Completion of a 3-year Internal Medicine Residency
North Carolina medical license or eligibility
