Job Opportunity: OB-GYN Hospitalist

Join Pediatrix Medical Group as a full-time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist, providing 24-hour in-house coverage at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center. This nationally recognized maternity care hospital is located in the beautiful Central Coast city of Salinas, California, where you can enjoy a vibrant community and stunning natural landscapes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage
• Manage labor and delivery for low-volume OBs in the community
• Handle obstetrical triage and emergency situations
• Perform patient evaluations and management
• Assist in obstetrical surgeries
• Participate in fetal monitoring and coordinate with MFM specialists
• Support a Level III NICU operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and MFM support
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for all obstetric patients

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB-GYN or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
• OB Hospitalist work experience preferred
• Clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred
• Reside in the area or willing to relocate

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active California medical license at the time of application
• DEA must be obtained prior to start
