Shift: 24-hour in-house coverage; approx. 7–8 shifts/month
Position Details:
Patient Population: Obstetric patients, including laboring patients and OB emergencies
Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:

24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage

Manage labor and delivery for low-volume OBs

Handle obstetrical triage and emergencies

Evaluate and manage OB patients
-
Assist in obstetrical surgeries

Coordinate with MFM specialists
-
Support Level III NICU
Required Procedures: Obstetrical surgery assistance, triage, delivery management
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Pediatric subspecialists, MFM, and NICU team
Days Per Month: Approx. 7–8 shifts/month (2190 hours/year)
On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekends included in 24-hour rotating schedule
Submission Requirements:

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency) – Required

Active CA medical license at time of application – Required

OB Hospitalist experience – Preferred

Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred

Willingness to relocate or current residency in area – Required

Visa status (J1/H1B) – Required
