Job Title: Permanent Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Trinity Health’s MercyOne Genesis in Davenport, Iowa, is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Laborist physician to become part of a busy, collaborative, and well-established team. We provide comprehensive inpatient OB & GYN care alongside community health clinics and midwives in a supportive, thriving environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting.
• Deliver collaborative care alongside community health care partners and midwives.
• Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly in a high-volume environment.
• Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage, and respond to ER calls as needed.
• Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients.
• Perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients.
• Participate in a collaborative care model to enhance patient safety and community health.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia, NICU, and midwives.
• Support and enhance hospital protocols during the implementation of 24-hour in-house coverage starting April 2025.
• Candidates must be Board Certified.
• H1B and J1 visa support available for full-time positions.
• Clean malpractice history is preferred; must not have any cases in probate.
• Must be Board certified or Board eligible in the US.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required).
• Iowa license or willingness to obtain (Required).
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) (Required).
• Must specify if visa support (J1 or H1B) is needed (Required).
• Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN.
• Iowa medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Support for H1B and J1 visas available for full-time positions.
