Join Our Pediatric Team in Las Vegas, NV!
Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dedicated full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our rapidly growing, state-of-the-art 30-bed pediatric emergency department. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment alongside a team of Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians, with robust subspecialty coverage and excellent resident and fellow teaching opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality pediatric emergency care in a busy, 30-bed pediatric ER, managing nearly 55,000 patient visits annually.
- Collaborate closely with Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams.
- Participate in a supportive environment that includes child life specialists and pediatric social workers.
- Contribute to the teaching and mentorship of residents in pediatrics, emergency medicine, and family practice, as well as Pediatric ER fellows.
- Work full-time, covering twelve 12-hour shifts per month.
- Utilize full scribe coverage to enhance efficiency and the quality of patient care.
- Engage with affiliated Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Valid Nevada Medical License or willingness to obtain.
- Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).
- Current or recent inpatient hospital experience (required).
- Must reside in the immediate area or be willing to relocate.
- Open to fresh graduates and experienced providers, but recent inpatient experience is required.
License and Certification Requirements:
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start).
- CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start).
- Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B?
