Job Title: Physician - OB Hospitalist
Join a dynamic and academically focused OB/GYN hospitalist team in Columbus, Ohio, where you will provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care across three hospital sites. This position emphasizes resident education and high-risk pregnancy management in a supportive, Level III NICU facility affiliated with The Ohio State University.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide in-house coverage as a full-time OB/GYN hospitalist across three hospital campuses.
- Staff residents on Labor & Delivery (L&D), serving as in-house OB hospitalist.
- Perform gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomy, and manage clinic patients.
- Manage medically complex, high-risk pregnancies and perform advanced obstetrical surgeries.
- Supervise and teach residents during clinical care and didactic sessions.
- Collaborate with Graduate Medical Education (GME) teams to enhance resident education and curricula.
- Provide timely obstetrical care in L&D units and emergency situations.
- Work 12-hour shifts covering days and nights, including weekend rotations.
- Engage with the community and support the mission of excellent healthcare provision.
- Not open to Locum, lapsed Board Certification, 1099, or visa candidates.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Preferred at least 2 years of experience, but new graduates from strong residencies will be considered.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Strong interest in team-based obstetrical care, education, and managing high-risk pregnancies.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must have or be willing to obtain an Ohio medical license.
- DEA certification or ability to obtain.
- No visa sponsorship (No J-1 or H-1B accepted).
