Job description
A well-established health system in the Upper Midwest is seeking Hospitalists for multiple inpatient coverage needs beginning October 1, 2025. These are 7 on / 7 off locum positions with flexible shift structures and travel/lodging support.
Job Responsibilities
Optional site-splitting: Work two nearby facilities during a 12-hour shift
No procedures required
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible (MD/DO for Hospitalists; NP/PA for APC roles)
Ability to secure state license and DEA quickly if not already licensed
Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient experience preferred
Must be available to begin work on or around October 1st, 2025
Working Hours
Shift Options:
12-hour shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM
Partial shifts: 6-hour day shifts available
Some flexibility to split shifts across nearby locations (short drive time required)
Skills
Ability to manage low-to-moderate acuity patients independently
Excellent communication and documentation
Comfortable with technology and remote collaboration (telemed consults)
Adaptability to different practice environments and EHR systems
