A leading health system in Bucks County is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to join its maternity care team on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE). This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-supported environment with state-of-the-art maternity care, high-risk pregnancy management, and a collaborative OB team. Job Responsibilities
Work two 12-hour shifts per week (24 hours total/week); schedule to be discussed during the interview
Attend deliveries, manage OB triage, perform surgical assists, and respond to OB emergencies
Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology specialists
Participate in patient care planning, documentation, and hand-offs
Support tailored birth plans and work closely with midwives, nurses, and lactation consultants
Help educate residents and medical students (optional)
Qualifications
Active PA medical license or willingness to obtain – Required
NCC certification in fetal monitoring or willingness to obtain within 6 months – Required
Must not require visa support – Required
Previous OB hospitalist experience preferred
Working Hours
.6 FTE
Shift times and days to be finalized during the interview
24/7 in-house OB Hospitalist coverage (you will not work alone on shift)
Skills
Collaborative, team-based approach
Competence in managing high-risk OB patients and supporting surgical OB cases
Ability to educate patients and support individualized birthing plans
Experience with fetal monitoring and labor management
