OB Hospitalist – Full-Time (Perm)

📍 Location: Silvis, Illinois
🏥 Facility Type: 150-Bed Level II Trauma Center
📆 Schedule: 24-hour shifts (12 hrs onsite / 12 hrs remote) | 10–12 shifts/month

Position Overview

We are seeking 2–4 OB Hospitalists to join a collaborative inpatient team supporting labor & delivery and emergency OB care in Silvis, IL. This growth-focused role enhances access for OB/GYN providers, promotes safe deliveries, and fosters provider work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient obstetric care and L&D triage

• Round on OB inpatients and consult with the ED as needed

• Handle an average of 40–50 deliveries per month

• Work alongside OB/GYNs and hospital-based teams

• Support continuity of care from triage to delivery

Schedule Highlights

• 24-hour shifts (split 12 hrs onsite / 12 hrs remote)

• No more than 3–4 shifts consecutively

• 10–12 shifts per month

• Focused day shift triage support

Candidate Requirements

✅ Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of eligibility)
✅ Active Illinois Medical License (or willing to obtain)
✅ NRP & AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certified (or willing to obtain)
🔄 Open to new grads (through 2026) and those retesting for board certification
