Start: August or September 2025
Duration: 26-week assignment
Schedule: 7on/7off | Day Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
EMR: Sorian (Cerner-based)
Position Details:
- 15–18 patients per provider/day (targeted census)
- Average 20 admissions per shift during peak season
- Closed ICU (managed by pulmonary/critical care team)
- Hospitalists respond to codes and rapid responses
- 4 providers on the floor, 1 assigned to ICU per day
- Supported by 6 APPs covering admissions (3x12s)
Requirements:
- MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Minimum 5 years of hospitalist experience required
- Active PA license or IMLC eligible
- Must have BLS, ACLS, DEA
About the Team:
- 11 full-time physicians (multiple retirements and transitions expected)
- 2 full-time and 1 part-time/per diem nocturnists
- Seeking stable core of full-time locum physicians for consistency
