JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician to join their Hospitalist program. In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends.
About position:
Clinical responsibilities will include: Level II nursery, well newborn nursery, daily rounding, discharges, vent management and intubation
Opportunity for procedures including central line placement, thoracentesis etc. - training Provided
7 on 7 off Schedule -7a-7p with 2/ 7p-7a shifts every other week
ICU is covered by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm, and covered by hospitalist team nights and weekends
Established team of 6 hospitalist
Anticipated Volume is 10-12 patients
Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients
BLS and ACLS certifications required
