Job Opportunity: OB Hospitalist/Laborist

Join a dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, where advanced medical care meets a community-focused approach. The facility offers state-of-the-art services for expecting mothers and comprehensive maternity care, including qualified OB/GYN specialists and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We are looking for an OB Hospitalist/Laborist to work part-time (24 hours per week) in a supportive environment that prioritizes patient safety and innovative care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide medical oversight for Labor and Delivery and Post Partum Units, ensuring the safety and care of maternity patients.
• Commit to .6 FTE, which equals 24 hours per week with two 12-hour shifts (schedule to be discussed during the interview).
• Engage with high-risk pregnancy management and collaborate with specialists and support staff in a well-equipped environment.
• Participate in meaningful patient education through maternity classes and childbirth preparation programs.
• Respond to unexpected obstetric emergencies with availability 24/7 on-site obstetric laborists.
• Support personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs, including labor support and midwifery care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license or willingness to obtain one
• NCC certification in fetal monitoring (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire)
• No visa support required (J1 or H1B)
