Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director Opportunity in Pocatello, ID

Join a well-established and reputable practice at a key medical facility in southeast Idaho, offering a vital role as a Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director. This position provides a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality care to pediatric patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role required
• Caring for medical patients in the Pediatric Unit
• Consulting pediatric patients in the emergency department and surgical patients
• 7 on 7 off schedule
• Round in hospital, with call from home
• Collaboration with a sister program 30 minutes away for consultation
• Opportunity for faculty appointment with Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Accepting J1 visa candidates

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
• ID license or eligibility for IMLC compact (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a leadership role
• DEA certification (to be obtained prior to start)
• CSR/CDS certification (to be obtained prior to start)
