Job Opportunity: Pediatric Hospitalist in Pocatello, ID

Join our dedicated team as a Pediatric Hospitalist at a community hospital in Pocatello, Idaho. This facility offers a supportive environment tailored for pediatric care within a 205-bed hospital, which serves as a Level II Trauma center and a regional referral center. You'll be part of a robust Pediatric Hospital Medicine service, working directly with a team focused on delivering exceptional healthcare to young patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Caring for medical patients in the Pediatric Unit.
• Consulting pediatric patients in the emergency department and surgical patients.
• Work a 7 on 7 off schedule, with rounding in the hospital and call from home.
• Develop and oversee a sedation program.
• Collaborate with the sister program at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
• Engage in various pediatric healthcare services, including a 2-bed Pediatric ICU and a 16-bed Level III Neonatal ICU.
• Opportunity for faculty appointment with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics (Required).
• Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (Required).
• ID license or IMLC compact-eligible (or willing to obtain) (Required).
• DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start (Required).

License and Certification Requirements:

• All required licenses and certifications must be obtained before starting employment.
