Exciting Opportunity for an OB Hospitalist in Athens, OH!

We are expanding our OBGYN Hospitalist services into the state of Ohio! Join our exceptional team as we collaborate to create and deliver optimum care to the Athens, OH area. This facility is dedicated to providing top-notch services in a supportive and cohesive environment aimed at improving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide collaborative OB triage, admissions, inpatient care, and delivery for hospitalized patients in conjunction with hospital staff and affiliated obstetricians.
• Handle Obstetric and Gynecologic emergencies with a flexible work schedule to promote work-life balance.
• Collaborate with community OBs in a cohesive group for effective patient care.
• Ensure continuity, quality, and safety through best practices.
• Communicate in real-time with office physicians about triage visits, new issues, and deliveries.
• Improve clinical outcomes and enhance patient experience while reducing costs.
• Manage multidisciplinary OB Critical Care and OB/GYN emergency-department patients.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
• Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - required at presentation
• DEA - must be obtained prior to start
• Prior experience in OB hospitalist roles is required; new graduates are not eligible

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Board Certification in OB/GYN
• Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain
• DEA registration must be obtained before starting
