We are seeking a Locum Tenens Hospitalist in Colorado.
Locum Tenens Hospitalist
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Hospitalist
Location: Colorado
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 7p-7a, onsite shift work only, no call
Start Date: June 2025
End Date: TBD
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Adult, Inpatient
- Setting: Med/Surg floors only
- Responsibilities: Admissions (7-11 per shift), rounding, inpatient care
- Required Procedures:
- Inpatient care
- Non‐Invasive Vent Management (BiPAP/CPAP)
- EKG Interpretation
- EMR System: EPIC (dictated charting)
- Support Staff: 1 NP available
- Other Physicians Onsite: Yes
- On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekend shifts as needed
Compensation & Reimbursement:
- Flights: Up to $750 RT cap
- Lodging: Reimbursed by receipt, up to $150 per night
- Car Rental: Reimbursed by receipt (economy car cap)
- Mileage: IRS Standard Rate
Requirements:
- Board Certified – REQUIRED
- Active CO License or Active IMLC – STRONGLY PREFERRED (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
- BLS, ACLS – REQUIRED
- Must be willing to do stretches of 6+ days – REQUIRED
