We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Hospitalist - OB in Michigan.

Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift:
- Every Monday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Every Wednesday: 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- 2nd Tuesday of the month: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 1st & 3rd Friday of the month: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Start Date: June 15, 2025
End Date: Ongoing until permanent hire
Position Details:
- Setting: Laborist program, 24/7 coverage on L&D and OB triage
- Responsibilities:
- Supervise OB/GYN residents (no exceptions)
- Handle private practice deliveries
- Manage some female-related GYN issues in the ER
- Must be comfortable with C-sections, emergency D&C, and D&E
- Facility: Level 3 NICU staffed by neonatologists and APPs
- Hospital Beds: 27 beds + triage and OR
- Annual C-sections: 400 per year
- Support:
- 24-hour anesthesia coverage for OB
- Recently developed dry epidural program
- OB/GYN residents available 24/7 (no APP coverage)
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
On-Call/Weekend Requirements:
- Weekend: None
- On-Call: None
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified OB/GYN - Required
- Michigan License - Highly Preferred (IMLC accepted)
- Clean Background/No Malpractice - Highly Preferred
- Local Candidates - Highly Preferred (open to full travel candidates)
- Must supervise residents - Required
