Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking a flexible, rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care? We are seeking a skilled Locum Physician to provide exceptional obstetric and gynecological care in Merced, CA. This vital role offers the chance to support a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and babies while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Required Skills:
  • Valid medical license and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven experience in obstetric care, including deliveries and OB triage
  • Skilled in emergency GYN procedures and consults
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with NICU Level II management
  • Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Familiarity with hospital protocols for OB care and emergencies

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice in a hospital setting
  • Previous experience working in high-volume obstetric units

Other Requirements:
  • Must hold valid CA medical license and Facility OB credentialing
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts if needed
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced obstetric environment
  • Ability to travel to and from Merced, CA, as required
  • Compliance with all hospital and state regulations, including necessary certifications and immunizations
