We are seeking a Locum Tenens Hospitalist in New York.
Locum Tenens Hospitalist
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Hospitalist
Location: New York
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
Start Date: March 1, 2025
End Date: August 2025
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Adult, Medicine
- Setting: Inpatient, rounding and admitting with open ICU, covering rapids
- Responsibilities: Rounding, admissions, and covering rapid responses
- Required Procedures: Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
- EMR System: Paragon
- Support Staff: Other hospitalists present during locum coverage
- Days Per Month: TBD
- On-Call/Weekends: Yes
Compensation & Reimbursement:
- Facility covers flight, hotel, and rental car expenses
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (REQUIRED)
- Active NY License (or willing to obtain)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (REQUIRED)
- Local candidates preferred
