Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Visalia, CA

Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current and unrestricted Medical License in California
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience managing labor and delivery in a hospital setting
- Ability to handle emergent gynecological cases
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Comfortable working within a team-based, pseudo laborist model
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Level III NICU cases
- Familiarity with community-based hospital settings
- Experience working with residency programs, particularly Family Medicine
- Knowledge of hospital emergency protocols and OB/GYN call schedules
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Prior locum or permanent hospitalist experience preferred
- At least 2 years of obstetric inpatient care experience
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025
- Willingness to work in a level III NICU environment
- In-house anesthesia coverage provided 24/7
- No outpatient responsibilities; clinic duties not required
- Must be able to manage emergent gynecological cases as needed
- Travel and licensure reimbursement where applicable
