Required Skills
  • MD or DO degree with valid medical license to practice in Texas
  • Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
  • Proven experience in obstetric hospital medicine or inpatient obstetric care
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience in high-volume obstetric units or tertiary care centers
  • Knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine practices
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • At least two years of post-residency OB hospitalist experience
  • Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one promptly

Other Requirements
  • Availability for 24-hour shifts on a 7a-7a schedule
  • Willingness to work weekend and holiday shifts as needed
  • Valid DEA license and hospital privileges in Texas
  • Must adhere to all state and federal healthcare regulations
  • Additional travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements are provided when applicable
