Required Skills
- MD or DO degree with valid medical license to practice in Texas
- Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Proven experience in obstetric hospital medicine or inpatient obstetric care
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in high-volume obstetric units or tertiary care centers
- Knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least two years of post-residency OB hospitalist experience
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one promptly
Other Requirements
- Availability for 24-hour shifts on a 7a-7a schedule
- Willingness to work weekend and holiday shifts as needed
- Valid DEA license and hospital privileges in Texas
- Must adhere to all state and federal healthcare regulations
- Additional travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements are provided when applicable
