Required Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
- Active medical license in Florida or ability to obtain one promptly
- Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospital-based obstetrics
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases with professionalism
Nice to Have Skills:
- Ultrasound certification or proficiency
- Experience working in a hospitalist or locum tenens set up
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- BLS and ACLS certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Prior work experience in the Florida healthcare system is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work on weekends starting December 31, 2025
- Willingness to comply with hospital credentialing and licensing procedures
- Participation in ongoing medical education and compliance standards
- Travel and licensure reimbursements available where applicable
