Required Skills:
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
  • Active medical license in Florida or ability to obtain one promptly
  • Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospital-based obstetrics
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases with professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Ultrasound certification or proficiency
  • Experience working in a hospitalist or locum tenens set up
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
  • Prior work experience in the Florida healthcare system is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work on weekends starting December 31, 2025
  • Willingness to comply with hospital credentialing and licensing procedures
  • Participation in ongoing medical education and compliance standards
  • Travel and licensure reimbursements available where applicable
