Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
- Valid medical license to practice in Virginia or eligible for licensing reciprocity
- Proven experience in obstetric and hospitalist care
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience working in hospital settings with obstetric patients
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience or relevant clinical practice
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work weekends consistently
- Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable where appropriate
- Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia medical license
