We are seeking a highly skilled OB Hospitalist to provide exceptional care in Bel Air, MD. In this pivotal position, you will manage obstetric and gynecologic cases, ensure safe deliveries, and provide comprehensive inpatient care. Your expertise will directly influence patient outcomes and enhance the quality of maternity services in the region.

Required Skills:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current medical license in Maryland
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven clinical experience in obstetric and gynecologic inpatient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in a hospitalist or overnight provider role
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Previous locum tenens or temporary staffing experience

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Completion of a residency or fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical practice
  • Prior experience providing OB care in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on or after December 31, 2025
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Valid DEA registration and malpractice insurance
  • Willingness to travel as needed for assignments
  • Licensure reimbursement, certification, and travel expenses covered when applicable

Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $195.00.
