Required Skills
- Active and unrestricted MD or DO license in Maryland
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
- Significant clinical experience in obstetrics and inpatient hospital settings
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior locum or temporary hospitalist experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 3 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Prior work in hospital-based obstetric care in a similar clinical setting
Other Requirements
- Availability to work during weekend shifts as scheduled
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital privileging requirements
- Willingness to travel if required for credentialing or supplemental assignments
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; other certifications as mandated by the facility
