Overview
We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to fill a locum position on weekends, ensuring continuous, high-quality obstetric care. This role is perfect for physicians seeking flexible scheduling opportunities while maintaining clinical excellence. You'll work alongside a collaborative team committed to delivering outstanding care and advancing maternal health outcomes.

Required Skills
  • Active and unrestricted MD or DO license in Maryland
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
  • Significant clinical experience in obstetrics and inpatient hospital settings
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with high-risk obstetrics
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Prior locum or temporary hospitalist experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • At least 3 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
  • Prior work in hospital-based obstetric care in a similar clinical setting

Other Requirements
  • Availability to work during weekend shifts as scheduled
  • Compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital privileging requirements
  • Willingness to travel if required for credentialing or supplemental assignments
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications; other certifications as mandated by the facility
