Cardiology Hospitalist - Wausau, Wisconsin

Aspirus Heart Care is actively seeking a BC/BE Cardiology Hospitalist Physician to join their well-established cardiology team in Wausau, Wisconsin.

This full-time position offers an outstanding work-life balance with a 24-week annual schedule, providing the opportunity to rank among the top 10% of earners in the field.

• Schedule: 1 week on, 1 week off
• Hospital Service Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rounds: Begin at 7:30 AM, supported by 2 full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), as well as additional support from Electrophysiology, Structural, and Heart Failure APPs in the morning
• Admissions: Managed by hospitalists, including after-hours coverage
• Facility: Tertiary care hospital with no competing cardiologists
• Team: Collaborative, collegial group working closely with Interventional and Structural Heart Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Cardiothoracic Surgeons
• Call Requirements: 2 nights per week when on duty (24 weeks per year)
• Additional Opportunity: Chance to review and interpret diagnostic studies
• Compensation: Guaranteed salary, plus a productivity bonus

This position requires completion of a cardiology fellowship.
