We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Hospitalist MD to join our team in the serene and picturesque setting of Rural New York State. This position does not sponsor J1 Visas, so we are specifically looking for a provider who is local to the area or open to relocating to this tranquil region.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 7 on/7 off with 12-hour shifts, providing an ideal work-life balance.
- Patient Load: Manage an average of 16-18 patients per day in collaboration with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Facility Overview:
- Massena Hospital, Massena, NY: Features a 5-bed open ICU functioning primarily as a telemetry step-down unit. Recently completed a $14 million construction/renovation project, including state-of-the-art ICU/CCU/Telemetry units and a new Women’s Imaging Center. Operating at 80 to 95% occupancy, ensuring a dynamic work environment.
- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Ogdensburg, NY: A 115-bed facility with a history of serving the community for over 130 years, featuring specialized units and a strong commitment to top-notch care.
