Job Summary:
- Manage and coordinate care for hospitalized patients, including admitting, diagnosing, treating, and discharging.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures as needed.
- Monitor and adjust treatments based on patient response and evolving clinical conditions.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment options, and care plans.
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team about patient status and care plans.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Board Certification (ABIM) – Internal Medicine
- DEA certificate
- WY Licensure or the Ability to Obtain WY Licensure;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- MD or DO with Directly Related Experience in Infectious Disease
