This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: January - Ongoing; day shift 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and night shift 6:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; 6–12 night shifts and 2–4 day shifts per month, with occasional additional coverage. Both providers will work a mix of day and night shifts.
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Types of Cases: Hospitalist; admitting patients from the Emergency Department, daily rounding, management of acute medical conditions, coordination with specialists, discharges, medication reconciliation, diagnostic test review, family meetings, and multidisciplinary rounds. Open intensive care unit.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
Certifications Required: Board Certified highly preferred; Board Eligible required; Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency required
Licensure Required: California medical license only

Woodland is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Sacramento. The area is very well irrigated and this drew people out to try their hand at farming. In fact The Gibson Mansion in Yolo County, now a historical museum, is the former home of William B.
