Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive inpatient care, managing patients from admission through discharge
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Conduct daily rounds, ensuring continuity and quality of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records
- Provide leadership and guidance to support staff and less experienced physicians
Qualifications:
- Medical License: Must hold a current Missouri medical license or be willing to obtain one
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a hospitalist
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Citizenship: US citizenship or green card holder preferred; sponsorship available for exceptional candidates
