Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our healthcare team. As a Hospitalist, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients admitted to the hospital. Your primary responsibility will be managing and coordinating the care of hospitalized patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

- Perform comprehensive medical assessments and evaluations of patients admitted to the hospital
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history
- Provide ongoing medical care, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and performing procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment
- Participate in daily rounds, discussing patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge planning
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Document all patient encounters, assessments, treatments, and interventions in the electronic medical record system
- Contribute to clinical research activities and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital

Qualifications

BC/BE Family or Internal Medicine Physician

- Must be able to do procedures
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience with airway management, catheterization, and other common medical procedures
- Knowledge of primary care principles and practices
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage complex medical cases and make sound clinical decisions
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and resources for post-hospital care
- Competence in data management for accurate documentation and reporting purposes
- Interest in clinical research and willingness to participate in research activities
