Ohio Valley Physicians (OVP) is actively seeking qualified Board Certified Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians to help grow our facility OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio.

Job Description:
  • OVP is a family-owned physician group practice company focused on the delivery of hospitalist and emergency department physicians. OVP's physicians and affiliated providers practice in hospitals and other inpatient facilities. The current opportunity is provided by OVP as contracted by Ohio Health O'Bleness.
  • Physician-led organization
  • Our practice offers Hospitalists a supportive and rewarding inpatient practice environment.
  • The program offers outstanding specialty support along with a "Team" like approach with the ER.
  • The practice enjoys the benefits of designated rounding and admitting function providers, along with PA and NP support.
  • EPIC
  • Full-Time Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC)
  • On-site administrative support
  • Not accepting new graduate candidates - experience required
  • Not accepting visa candidates
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
Compensation and Benefits:
  • May be contracted as W2 w/benefits or 1099 independent contractor w/ guaranteed shifts. These are all-inclusive rates:
    - 1099- $1920-$1970 per 12-hour shift
    - W2- $1800-$1850 per 12-hour shift
  • W2 positions offer:
    - Full Health/Dental/Vision
    - Group life policy
    - 401k w/company contribution
    - $3000 CME
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Employment experience as Hospitalist of at least 12 months/2,000 hours (not including training)
  • OH License (in hand or in process)
  • List of procedures the provider is experienced in performing (note in "Experience" field)
  • Permanent Placement Fee (note in "Additional Submission Details" at name clear)
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination Status (upload as a Document)
